It may be different now but when I was at airborne last june, the Ranger liaison stopped offering RASP slots to all 11B because there were just too many of them. Its now a year later and last I heard, they aren't hurting in recruitment so not sure if they are still selective in who they ask for a RASP slot. They were definitely pushing all the soft skill MOS's to accept a RASP slot.
