Ryan, you need a new screen name. You aren't a future anything yet. Someone will be along to help you.
In the meantime, read all the FAQs, stickies and select threads. If you want to earn a place in the 75th Ranger Regiment, you came to the right site. We take particular pride in the fine young men who have passed through the site on their life journey. Now tell us more about yourself, focus on why you want to be a Ranger.

Re: Introduction-Ryan
Well I want to be a Ranger to learn from the best, to be the best. I really admire the Ranger spirit to lead the way and to never ever give up and of course there's jumping out of planes and defending my country.
I originally wanted to sign for 35M and eventually go through SFAS but my DLAB was a few points short and I left MEPs unemployed.
Of course the entire recruiting station called me at MEPs trying to convince me to be a cook or repairman but I declined.
A few weeks later one of my recruiters offered me an Opt.40 contract, which I had completely forgotten about.
I did my research on Ranger history and eventually came to this website and I feel that this is what I should be a part of.
I guess my DLAB score was the best thing that could have happened to me!

Who you talking too? You don't just walk into a room here and spout what you wish without addressing the person or persons you are speaking to - that might be good on your block or in your class but not on this Ranger site.Ryan555 wrote:11x Option 40 contract signed.
You read back a month of civilian introductions in this forum. That is your newest task. Your training has already begun. Each Ranger that takes the time to speak to you will be expecting a response - & you are being graded from Day 1.
Try reading this link (a few words by Ranger The Holmchicken written 9 years ago) - nothing has changed of what we expect.

Re: Introduction-Ryan
Ryan555 you are over due to respond and repost your announcement. I want you to come back each time to respond by acknowledging you have a new task.
However, if you are put back by what I've/we've said to you - it might be a good idea for you to drop your Opt 40 contract. If you can not deal with us here you will only quit down the line.

Did not know you had a medical issue. Wait until it has subsided. Just do the run & ssitups. No pull-up or push-up. Let the shoulder recover.

Ranger Jim,
I will wait till it no longer hurts, I must have tweaked my rotator cuff in just the wrong way. My shoulders are used to frequent weight training, yet I do a few sets of pushups and now they burn constantly.
