Though this story is one of a small case of defiance, it is a major indicator about what is going on in China. Most of the uninformed think that all is well in China, and that the people are getting more liberties and the economy is thriving. The truth is the people have realized that life sucks and those new found liberties are making them more defiant. The government knows that if they crack down, like they did after Tianmen Square, the whole house of cards can come tumbling down.

Remember the stages of freedom...

From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage

China is somewhere around the spiritual faith and courage area.

Sadly we are going from apathy to dependence.
