Goal for time holding the front leaning rest

Post by smug »

I searched the site and found references to holding the FLR anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours. Are these numbers accurate reflections of what will be expected (i.e. two hours of holding the FLR without any recovery)? What would be a good goal for holding this position without any recovery? What kind of recovery is/might be permitted (e.g. sagging one's back, shaking out a single arm, dropping to the knees)?

Thanks in advance to all who take the time to reply.

I thought the goal time was when you thought you were going to die and you had enough pooled sweat beneath you to fill Lake Superior.
