Introduction - Alexander

Post by NetGoon »

Hello, I'm Alexander. I'm 19, going to college for the next two years then off to the Army. I've been wanting to be an Army Ranger for the last two years now. I don't tell many people or friends because of the negativity I will receive like "Good luck haha" or "Just quit now", I refuse to quit on my dream. I've been preparing now for a year physically and mentally, watching all the videos I can and looking up on the information I can. As a recent Highschool Graduate I took JROTC for four years knowing the basics of Drill and Leadership. I've come to this forums to ask questions and possibly be mentored by actual Rangers. Thank you!

OK, thanks for your response. I think you can see that you need to do a lot of work. Go back and review the information on Option 40. Use the search feature located in the upper right of this thread. Never, never quit!

I've reviewed the Option 40. I won't quit, I will continue to improve over the next two years. When the time comes for Ranger School I won't quit til' I am placed in a stretcher.

One think I saw was to definitely start running. Sprinting. Running. Sprinting. You have a lot of time to cut off that 17 min+. That's barely enough for basic.
