Introduction to Those Who Lead the Way

Post by SF-Yankee »

Hello to all who honor the Ranger way of life. I'm a retired MSG who was Ranger tabbed from class 1-83 but spent my career in SF. Since my retirement, I've spent my civilian career as a contractor in support of military forces in both Bosnia and Iraq and actually have a family and live in Bosnia. For those of you who don't know him, I chose my personal hero and former teammate Gary Gordon as my avatar. As an MOH recipient, he epitomizes the spirit of the Ranger and he (and the rest of our team) was always proud to wear the Ranger tab as a beneficial adjunct to our training and missions. I tip my beret to all of you who have served and are serving in the military and to all of the spouses, children and relatives who have supported those brave career paths.

Welcome aboard, looks like you'll add a little more color to an already ecclectic band.

Welcome Brother. I knew Gary as well, he was, without any doubt one heck of a good man.
