Re: Intro to Nightingale
Welcome Home, Brother Ranger. Thank you for your gallant Warrior service to our country. Thank you for being a caring, effective leader who inspired greatness from the Rangers you had the privilege of leading. I am truly honored to share with men such as you the celebration at Ranger Rendezvous this coming July.

Hey Sir welcome and congrats on your induction. By chance do you know what happened with Cpt Moorehouse. I know he had a tough stretch, I hope he pulled it togeather. Always liked his Storm Trooper and Avenging Angles speeches.

Welcome to our (yours and ours) home, Sir.
I'm not sure if you've gotten a welcome packet or not so I'll be sending you one, and another message combined into one private message. if you already have one, please disregard it Sir.
edit: Sir, the software is giving me fits and I can't apply the 2% rule at this time, I'll try again later.

Re: Intro to Nightingale
Hello Col,
Rick Peterson here. I ran into you 2 years ago on the D-Day Anniversary in the St Mere-Eglise bar when you were making that film with Dale Dye about La Fiere bridge. I have been looking for the documentary ever since, did you finish it? I'd love to see it. I'm still living in France. I'm going back to Normandy with Chiwiwi and some other Rangers again for the anniversary. If you are there again this year, we'd love to buy you a glass of wine.
Glad to hear you're doing well,
RLTW.

Re: Intro to Nightingale
I always wondered why we pinned an American flag inside of our PC in 1/75. Now I know.Buddha wrote:Welcome, sir! I remember well when you gathered us together just before you changed command with LTC Kernan; You gave all of us flags to put in our PCs so we could sport the colors when war came knocking. I kept that flag in my PC for years (until we started wearing them daily on our right sleeves) and passed the tradition on to others in following assignments.
