Her "crosshairs" are survey marks used on US Geological maps. We've seen them on UTM maps. Dumbasses.

Hmmm. So I am pretty familiar with the fact that Bob Beckel, a Democratic strategist, invented the whole "targeting" and use of cross-hairs process. That was some time ago and it has never been a problem- until now that Democrats are rushing to judgment, like they rush into everything else "for our own good" and "for the children". But I digress.

BTW Beckel, whom with I disagree on almost everything, has been on TV talking about how these tactics by the Democrats are deplorable and (my words) will bite them in the ass. It was not just some CYA, IMO. He very precisely articulate why.

This event, though tragic, has been blown out of proportion by the media and sensationalized by the Left for political gain. Obama ordered the flag to be flown at half mast for six days to capitalize on sensitivity. He has never ordered it flown for a fallen soldier, or the daily muders in Chicago, Detroit, New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, etc. He attended and spoke at the Tuscon memorial but missed the Memorial Day ceremony at Arlington. But his policy is to never let a crisis go to waste. What else can I say but that 2012 will be the end of an error.
