Sit Rep- Jump Week

Post by TexasRusty »

Greetings Rangers and anyone else who stumbeled across this post. I have completed ground and tower week of airborne and we are schedueled to make our first jump on Monday. Im pretty excited but a little nervous. I know I'll be ok as long as I execute everything I've learned. As soon as I graduate Friday I'm headed over to RASP holdover. I can't believe it's already here, it seems like yesterday when I first found this site. Thanks again for the opportunity and I'll post another update after our first jump if I can.

The first jump is the easiest - good luck! Go earn your Airborne Wings.

And the second jump is the hardest, since you now know what 1250 feet under your boots looks like!
After that, it's just another day at work.
Have fun, keep your eyes open and follow your drills.

I don't think there's any quit in this one. My last mentee gave up his option 40 contract and went WorldWide.......I tracked him down and STILL haven't stopped fucking with him!

Hello Rangers, got all 5 jumps under my belt and just got proccesed into pre-RASP. We've already had over 10 guys go worldwide. I can't believe it, the energy here is amazing. There's tan berets all over the place and I feel so thankful just to be in the same compound. I've been waiting for this for so long and I can't believe its really here. I still want it more than anything else in the world. I can't wait to feel like I've actually earned something that I can be proud of. Thanks again for the website and the support, I probably wouldn't be here without y'all. I'll post updates when I can.
