Re: Just plain wrong - kewl
I can easily connect with both these types of music, being that Pink Floyd gave me the yearning to live (circa 1975) & I also liked disco dancing I think it's kewl.
Btw 1976 & 1981 when I worked nights, every off night (during & after Son of Sam's reign) I spent my time in after hour joints dancing til we got to bed.
I danced to the BeeGees & then smoked & relaxed with Pink Floyd.

But while I admit the mix is interesting, it is blasphemy. Pink Floyd should not be mixed with anything. BTW, the albumn Dark Side of the Moon was a terrific aphrodisiac at the time.
WE NEED MORE RANGERS!

Re: Just plain wrong
Urban legend circa 1980-'82 had it that a tune from "The Wall" led a 10thSFGA group commander to off himself.
Getting serenaded by a company's worth of your troops belting out
"We don't need no group commander,
"We don't need no command control..
HEY! Colonel! Leave those troops alone!"
can't do much for your self esteem.
