Hello, my name is Josh, I'm 24 years old, and am currently in the process of obtaining a higher education so that i may enlist with an option 40(GED).
Dropped out at 17 with the understanding that it wouldn't change much, and without writing a novel, it seemed like a good idea to go to work at this time. My school work should be done before the end of 2010, and i look forward to any advice that i may dig up from the numerous posting of this board, and if its a more specific question, any direct answers any of the Rangers may give.
Also, i shall search the boards for this answer, but due to the fact im not in the DEP yet, i am having trouble locating the "Newts" category of avatars.. i will search for my answer, but if i am unable to locate, a quick direction would be appreciated

Re: Into-Josh
Thank you Ranger Bill, I have read and taken to heart the ROE and will do everything i can to uphold those terms.
Though I have nothing against any role, I plan on approaching my recruiter with the choice of 11X, though I am open to suggestions. As I said, im 24, and though its not old, I feel like I have spent enough time in mediocre jobs to know that mediocre is no where I want to be, so I'm not so much concerned with taking a MOS that will have me set up for a good job coming out after my first contract. Honestly, unless something eats me from the inside out, or my body decides to DQ from staying with what my heart wants, I plan on staying in for as long as possible.
Once again, I don't mean to write novels, I'll try to be more direct, just my nature to explain my angle.
