I am currently an MP (SSG) and will hopefully be reclassing to Journalist (46Q). I first enlisted in the Army in Oct 90 and attended OSUT at Ft. McClellan Al. After completeing AIT I was assigned with the 209th MP Co (Ft. Meade) for DS/DS. Came back from the desert and was then assigned to 3rd MP Co in Wurzburg GE. May 1993 I ETSd and served with the 403rd CA (Reserves) in NY. I reenlisted as a Rigger in Aug 98 and attended Airborne Nov/Dec 98. I was then assigned to E Co 782nd MSB (Bragg). I then reclassed back to MP in Feb 01. The assignments Ive had since being an MP are Ft. Drum (Desk Sergeant), Recruiting (PA), Korea, Bragg, Germany (Dog Handler). I am currently at Drum serving as a squad leader. I did 2 deployments as a handler to Afghanistan and just got back from Iraq.
I am here so I can better myself as a leader and to learn new things.

It is easier to lead men to combat, stirring up their passion, than to restrain them and direct them toward the patient labors of peace. Andre Gide
It seems like such a terrible shame that innocent civilians have to get hurt in wars, otherwise combat would be such a wonderfully healthy way to rid the human race of unneeded trash. Fred Woodworth

I've seen LEOdogs at work, awesome. Your partner alone means you're 'feared' by all!
Welcome to the forum, lots of civilian LEOs here and a few MPs do check in from time to time.
