Introduction

Post by SpearHeadLOG »

Greetings Everyone,

I am currently on active duty as a 1LT in the Transportation Corps, serving a 1-year hitch as a Movement Control Officer in Korea. In other words, I'm not quite "echelons-above-reality," but darn close. Thanks for keeping this board open to everyone; it already seems to be a very valuable resource.

In the spirit of being honest among professionals, I admit I'm still a tabless wonder after hanging out with my buddy Murphy in Ranger School classes 03-09, 04-09, AND 05-09 (I never quit, just got dropped). However, I learned a million and one things I couldn't have learned any other way, and I know I'm a better man and a better leader because of it. And I'm definitely ready to get back on that horse.

All that being said, I joined the Army with the Regiment in mind. My time in "Big Army" so far has confirmed that the Regiment is where I want to be. I'm hoping to link up with some of the Logisticians in the group and pick their collective brain about their roles in the Rangers.

Looking forward to gathering all the knowledge I can, and remember if you can't RUCK it, TRUCK IT!
It's not magic. It's logistics.
