Update and Thanks

Post by insidecntr »

Rangers,

Friday, after about 4 months of trying, I was able to secure my 11x/Opt 40. I told me recruiter that I was going to have my paperwork moved to another office. He freaked and within two days was able to get me the contract. My grandfather was a Ranger in WW2, so my recruiter's 1st Sgt called in and brought that up. 15 minutes later I had my contract locked in. My ship date is 20100222. Thank you all for the advice of holding out for the Ranger option. had it not been for this site, I would have settled for something else a few months back. Special thanks to Ranger wellfed. I feel like a kid on Christmas, and I won't waste the opportunity.
Ship: 20100222
