Staying in a Battalion

Post by swarm726 »

Rangers, through research I have noticed that through most Rangers opinion, not getting kicked out of a Battalion following RIP is a very difficult part of serving in the 75th Ranger Regiment. What types of things do soldiers struggle with to stay in a Battalion after RIP? I would greatly appreciate any answers being that I have done alot of research and could not find out what makes that stage so difficult. Thank you.

Almost always easier to "start" something, than it is to maintain, over the long haul. True test of Gumption there.

I forgot about the quitters as well. Lots of guys show up at Bn and find out life is too hard in the Ranger Regiment. Yada-yada-yada they end up picking up the trash on the side of the road at Ft Stewart

Seriously though, watch out for the booze, by the time you've had too much, you have no idea you've had too much. You best have your best Ranger buddies around you, if, when, that happens. Guilt by association is another thing to watch out for as you might be minding your own business while your buddy is setting a stripper's hair on fire under the table....I'm just saying.....

You will get kicked out of battalion for riding in a car with a guy who gets a DUI just as fast if you were the on driving
