Spawn of Zonk, thank you for this thread it's pretty hillarious, I see posting interesting pictures and links runs in the family. Jenny

P.S. http://www.failpix.net/ I just had to go to the failpix.net, one should check out the sunburn fail pic, it received a 5 out of 5 rating.

The fail of the day might only be funny to those still going to school...

Fun Fact of the Day: Months that begin on a Sunday will always have a "Friday the 13th."

United States Army General David Petraeus is coming to speak with all the Air Force Academy cadets today, should be pretty interesting. Army football will face Air Force on Saturday here in CO as well. ESPN GameDay will be here for the next few days.

5 NOV 09

Fun Fact of the Day: The youngest Pope was 11 years old.

Today in History: 1605 – Gunpowder Plot: Catholics try to blow up English Parliament. Plot uncovered and leader Guy Fawkes hanged

So, Spawn of Zonk, how about a small wager? Air Force is at home and heavily favored, but I will wager you an autographed copy of my book against $25 worth of Zoomie items, such as a coffee mug, beer glass or some cool Tee-shirt. Loser pays shipping.

Ranger Garyedolan,

We have a bet. But I feel like I'm not being fair, Air Force has this one in the bag...

OK, so if you think this bet is stacked too heavily in your favor, then if you win, you have to post a thorough book review after you finish reading my book. The book review must include any lessons you glean, insights into the characters, an analysis of the tragedies and, of course, your personal anecdotes about the book---or you can instead spot me 35 points!

Ranger Garyedolan,

Although I'm sure spotting you 35 points would make little difference in the outcome of the bet, I'll still take the book review as part of the deal. If I'm going to win a free book, I might as well contribute my thoughts on it. On a side note, the USMA cadets attending the game showed up late last night and seem pretty pumped for the game. Tomorrow should be a good time!

Gotta tell you, Gary, you can expect a detailed review. This young Cadet has impressed me for a couple years now. Zonk has good reason to be proud of Wil.
