Went to a party Friday night, and wore a 2nd Batt cap. It had a 2nd Bat DUI and flash on it.
The husband of the woman who was throwing the party approached me and asked if it was a Ranger flash. I advised him that it was. He then said that he was supposed to have gone to RIP. Before I could respond, he added that before his group had even left the BAC area to do the dufflebag drag to RIP, one of the RIP Cadre asked if there was anyone who wanted to quit before the fun started. He said his hand instantly went up. He continued, saying that he had made the right choice, as all the Rippies were immediately smoked.
Wow. Can't believe the dude even told me about it.
Nice guy, but would I ever go through a door with him? Uh............................no.

Like I said, he's a nice guy. In fact, he continues to serve in a National Guard capacity.. wrote:Well he's a better man than the losers who lie about their time in the military and feel they have to embellish an otherwise honorable service.

I guess the lifetime discount on Ray Bans wasn't enough motivation?TC204 wrote:I failed the swimming phase in the pre BUDS screening test, I'm not afraid to admit that. I'm not Mark Freakin Spitz!

HAHA!! Good for you, Ranger.
I heard one of those comments the other day. "My son was going to be a Ranger, but they weren't taking any more."

So the guy had the stones to tell a guy that had the stones, that at a previous time he didn't have the stones to man up and do the things the man with the stones did when the guy didn't have the stones?
