Rangers,
First off, sorry for the lack of SITREPS. I need to get a computer! Graduated Airborne School back in July and immediately went to Ft. Bragg where I was in SOPC hold for about three weeks. SOPC is a great program. I got a lot out of SOPC and more than anything improved on my ruck and run times. Had one week after SOPC to get the packing list ready and headed out to SFAS. It was no joke. Our class was 19 days and consisted of PT Week, Land Navigation the next week, and finally Team Week. I found out Thursday morning that I got selected. Team Week was hands down the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. I saw guys go down to the heat, saw guys cry, and some literally flat out say "fuck this", walk away, and quit.
Thanks for all the advice and posts on here. I thought a lot about the different things I've read on here while I was out there. Ranger Kilted Heathen and Ranger Nomad I sincerely thank you both. Without your advice and mentorship I would have been way behind the "power curve" both mentally and physically. Not to mention Ranger Kilted Heathen could very well have strangled me to death had I screwed this up! That's pretty good motivation by itself! For anybody wanting to go to Selection or prepare for it my advice would be to get in on Ranger Nomad's pt section...Today. It works plain and simple to get you in superior physical condition. Start rucking too. The rucks are all fast as hell with a lot of running if you want to finish in the top third or so. Thanks again Rangers. I'm looking forward to reading up on here and catching up.
Editing this post to ask permission to change that goofy DEP picture to something else. Thanks Rangers!

Ranger Caruthers, roger and I'm tracking McMillin and will pass the word when I get back from leave. Going to check out the Daily Workout Post while I'm home Ranger Nomad.
