Bing is a powerfull search engine, but if you install it as a toolbar, it is a system pig.

Funny thing, those toolbars. My daughter told me her computer was running a little slow and asked if I come by and fix it-Maybe add some memory.

Little slow was an understatement. She had so much bull shit (every toolbar, webmonkey, digital dog, etc etc) on it that it took 35 minutes just to boot to the desktop...

It took almost 4 hours for me to clean it up...

If it was an add on...she had it!!! I mean really, who needs 7 memory resident photo viewers, and 14 music players (all running at the same time....I shit you not!).

I run as bare bones as possible.

The most noticeable difference between bing and google (that I have noticed) is the news selection and layout. The choice of top stories appeals to my rtastes a little better on bing.
