Oh the Gator Lounge. Loved that place!

Congratulations on making it through the suck. Check your PM's for a welcome packet.

Gator Lounge was really nice, I never had so much candy and cake to eat in my whole life.
No beer at the end of phase? It took only a few and I was hammered.

Anyway, Congrats on graduating.

Excellent. Now the tough part begins. Were you promoted to SGT (E-5)?

Congrats. I think that makes you the 4th or 5th person with a tab in the entire 1/148th :) The two other guys I know there were former 2/75ers (actually I think one is with 145 AR now not 1/148th).

Ranger Jim, I haven't been promoted to SGT yet, I'm still down here at Benning for Airborne school, so I haven't been back to my unit. Hopefully I get those stripes coming my way.

Ranger Cardiac Kid, yeah there isn't really any tabbed guys in the 148, I think I'm number four. I know one is a former 2/75 kid, another was a PL in my company in Iraq and the other is a readiness NCO.
