Citizenship fight over
WASHINGTON – The Supreme Court has turned down an emergency appeal from a New Jersey man who says President-elect Barack Obama is ineligible to be president because he was a British subject at birth. The court did not comment on its order Monday rejecting the call by Leo Donofrio of East Brunswick, N.J., to intervene in the presidential election.
Donofrio says that since Obama had dual nationality at birth — his mother was American and his Kenyan father at the time was a British subject — he cannot possibly be a "natural born citizen," one of the requirements the Constitution lists for eligibility to be president.
Donofrio also contends that two other candidates, Republican John McCain and Socialist Workers candidate Roger Calero, also are not natural-born citizens and thus ineligible to be president.

Axe or not, he's a pretty smart fucker. So in your view only uninterested uninvolved third parties can have legitimate complaints? It seem to me in any kind of competition, if someone is cheating, the first one to cry foul is a competitor, then the crowd depending on how good the cheater is. If the cheater is real good few folks will actually see him cheat. If a lot are happy with the results they will never see it because they don’t want to. Being that this issue has dogged McCain and others over the years (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23415028/#storyContinued http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/11/us/po ... ccain.html ) I cant see why it’s such a big fucking deal to properly vet a guy who is supposed to be running the country soon. Our requirements here to vet a Ranger are more stringent than anything that has been applied to obama.Silverback wrote:And Dr. Alan Keyes has no axe to grind?Horned Toad wrote:http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2008/ ... obama.htmlSilverback wrote:This argument never had any legitimate sponsors.

MEN,
Do you really think that our country would allow someone to become President of our illustrious country without fulfilling the strict 2nd Article of the U.S. Constitution? There are more people than us and that are responsible for ensuring that we don't fail as a country in this task. More importantly, if this is ever allowed, I think it would be best put that our country is nothing more than a bunch of brigands an hooligans that would need to be disbanded.
There are a lot of bureaus, offices, facilities, agencies and departments in place to ensure that "vetting" is a priority supported by the scrutiny of the strict pre-requisites that are exshausted to the "Nth" degree to guarantee that we do not fail ourselves.

The short answer is Yes, this has been a worry with Obama crones as far back as 06
Who is doing the checking, ICE, BP, DHS there are way over 30 million illegals in this country that no one is trying to get rid of, so the governments track record in that area is pretty weakThere are more people than us and that are responsible for ensuring that we don't fail as a country in this task.
