Give Time Hack?

What does Give Time Hack mean. I came across it in chapter two of the Ranger Handbook under FRAGO.

I've been searching through pages of threads that come up under the search for weeks and have found nothing on it, I've even looked elsewhere on the internet and have come up short, help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

A time hack is basically a deadline which MUST be met and not exceded under any circumstances. It is almost always given in conjunction with a goal or an action that pertains to it, thus it's importance. Ex: Conduct link-up ops with C 2-2, NLT (no later than) 2300 hrs.....
