I'm not a "guy", I'm a "Ranger" and so are most of the other "guys" at ArmyRanger.com. And while you're at it, stay awake and pay more attention to you high school English instructor; your grammer and punctuation sucks! How in the fuck do expect to write Warning Orders, Operations Orders, After Action Reports, blah, blah, blah? Rangers are intelligent - if you want to be a knuckle dragger, join the fucking Marines...

ps: I wrote all of this shit and I am not a high school graduate. I got my GED high school equivalency in 1972 while in Infantry AIT. Get it together!

Rangers,

I took the ASVAB last week (I couldn't post due to internet troubles). Though I didn't expect the test to be hard, it was surprisingly easy. Now that I have taken it, I will be looking into the DEP. More updates to come.

I get the feeling from reading your postings thus far that you are brimming with confidence. While that isn't a bad thing you will probably not like the feeling of being humbled. The Army will do you good and give you a place to translate the cockiness into real world results...if you make it that far.

How about giving yourself an honest to God APFT? Post your results in here by 1700 EST tomorrow. Nothing follows.

Your post is late but I'll give you a pass since the board might have been down.

As for your APFT, those results are decent. I think there's a lot of room for improvement though. You should be able to add at least ten Push Ups, ten Sit Ups, shave two minutes off of your run and be able to knock out eight Pull Ups, which you failed to do so far.

In light of that and since you are getting serious about enlisting, I recommend you join our WO team at least a couple of times a week. I'm fortunate to have some real studs participating and they are all in the same situation you will find yourself in when you enlist as a future soldier. The link is here: Daily WO thread[

If you go back to the beginning of the thread and read through it to where we are today, you will notice some pretty cool changes happening in everyone's physical ability. Guys who are regulars and set the pace around here, like Inter06, DUG and NWrestler have shown a lot of improvement. Newer guys like VA2 are coming around more often and beating their old times with relative ease. With your competitive attitude and end goal in mind of becoming a Ranger, you may want to see if you can beat some of these guys - after all we are all competing with each other!
