Yes to your recollection. Third Ranger Battalion came across the pond in '89 and again in '92 when I went. I was one of 40 or 50 guys in the battalion that didn't get our British wings(winds, officers, etc). Enjoyed 3 Para boys, still have my jump smock-don't even remember what I traded to get that "kit"
