Introduction

Post by GnSurfin »

Good Evening Rangers,

My name is Jon and I am entering my third year at Northeastern University in Boston, studying Civil Engineering. At school I am a member of Army ROTC, the lacrosse team, and Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.

This Sunday, 24AUG, I leave for Fort Campbell, where I will be attending Air Assault School ( Class 13-08 ). Upon commissioning I hope to branch Infantry, and make my way to the regiment as a PL. I do not make this statement light heartedly and I feel like I have a decent understanding of the time, suck, and commitment involved. When the time promotes itself I also aspire to attend SFAS, excel through Qualification and eventually become a leader of an ODA.

With this being said I hope to make this my profession, not just a job. I know I am a long way from my goals of becoming a Ranger and a Special Forces soldier, but I am taking on my 25M targets one at a time. I look forward to gathering up every bit of information possible in my pursuit to become more knowledgeable in the trade, and becoming the best leader possible to my men. Thank you all for your service to this Country and its people.

My Apologies Ranger Invictus,

No disrespect meant, I would edit the post but I haven't yet figured out how.

Respectfully,
Jon
