Most people remember me fondly because of the glasses I wore.

So far I've been reading like a madman. Thanks again for having me Rangers!
I'm going to try and get in touch with the Oregon State ROTC group that is still here over the summer and get some PT in with them and get some numbers for a baseline I can work on.
Also Ranger Silverback I am going to do your Pushup workout you posted in the PT section. I own the Perfect Pushup things so we will see how that goes!

That's Ranger Silverback's favorite saying. Make sure you tell him that if you don't understand what he is telling you.weberp wrote:My bad

Welcome and thanks for your interest in being an Army Ranger. Keep us posted on your progress with your recruiter. Ranger JTLW mentioned about "good luck." Well here is the definition: Luck is being prepared and finding the opportunity. You have to be prepared first. Then you make your own good luck. You can get a start on making your own good luck be paying particular attention to to ROE PM I am sending you.
WE NEED MORE RANGERS!

Rangers these are my PT scores, not as great as I wanted but they were graded by the available ROTC Cadre in town. It leaves a lot of room for improvement but hell thats why I'm here isn't it! I've got some time luckily and will be getting those in the 80's and 100's pushups wise and my goal is to get my 2 mile run sub 13min.
Pushups: 65
Situps: 76
1.5 Mile Run: 14:53
Thank you Ranger Fish for the eye disqualification information. Looks like Go-Fasters are my best bet. Lens Implants at this point are not a option.
Never Quitting, speed bumps make things interesting.

Just an update Rangers, I'm two semesters away from a Associates in History and then I'm enlisting. Tomorrow I'm meeting with a two recruiters to iron out my plans for enlistment. Two semesters of exercising my mind and body should get me in decent shape for my future career as a warrior.
Thanks again for your valuable information here Rangers! It has definitely made things easier.
