"Ft. Benning isn't that bad. I've determined that 90% of the people in my company are Special Forces wannabes who are going to flunk out of Infantry OSUT. Totally laughable, I tell you. Inprocessing is ridiculously boring, but knowing that I ship out to Sand Hill next Friday makes the constant waiting go by quicker.
"I've been awake for over 48 hours straight. We arrived at Benning around 11 pm and reported immediately to Inprocessing, where we remained until 2 am. We were issued PT gear at this time and I pulled detail working as the inventory clerk. We spent all day yesterday and today doing countless paperwork and waiting for ungodly amounts of time. Chow sucks for breakfast, but lunch and dinner are pretty good."
