Introduction
Hello Rangers. I thought that I had done an Introduction when I joined. Anyway, I served in a variety of units, starting out with the old 5th ID (M) in 1984. I couldn't get a Ranger or SF contract after Grenada. Voulnteered for 75thRR,did the Pipeline and went to B/2/75. I was in the same platoon as Shughart and Rierson. Graduated from Ranger School in July, 86. I really don't remember the class number but it was Z Company. Served 4 years in the old 11th SFG(A), then went back to 2/75 for OP Desert Storm. Then SFAS, didn't make it through the SFQC, 25th ID(L), 82nd and ETS'd in 98. Took a 3 year break and went into NJ NG. Guarded sensitive sites after 9/11 and then went to 20th SFG(A) in MD. Deployed to OEF with them in 2003. ETS'd in 2007. I have a total of 12 AD, 1 of those with the above SF unit, 6 NG and 4 AR. I have tried to go back to it but can't seem to elicit any interest from the recruiters. I currently work at Fort Monmouth NJ as a DA civilian. I probably know some of you guys. I was exposed to this site by a former LRS guy. It is a great site.
