Intro: Update

Post by sbernal »

Thank you Rangers, Veteran monsterhunter, and DEP Copperhead. Today I signed my contract for 11x Opt. 40. I report to Ft Benning one week from today on 20080430. Because they didn't take my CLEP credits, i'll be enlisting at E-2.
I would like to use the remaining weak I have to prepare as much as possible for the journey that lies ahead. ANY input, suggestions, criticism, encouragement, comments, etc. are all welcome. I will limit my postings, especially since I don't have any questions that have not been answered.

Thank you for taking the time to read,

sam

I'd spend this week with your family and select friends. I'd make that a priority. Don't drink& drive or otherwise do anything stupid.

Continue to work on your PT scores whenever possible and print out a copy of and memorize the Ranger Creed if you haven't done so already.

Other than that, remember to have fun, 'specially at RIP in the hot summer sun :D

Good luck to you and keep that great attitude. You seem confident but not cocky. If you are true to your writing you will do well.

Don't worry about your size at all. You are about the same size as a Sniper named Alexander I had the privelage of serving with, he was one tough son of a bitch and could PT us all to death!! I do remember laughing at him (on the inside of course) road marching though cause all you could see was ruck and legs

Good luck Sam
