On a serious note, despite me being a coffeeholic, Bravo57's comment about the apple is right on, plus you can't spill an apple. My snack bag seldom has candy but always bears fruit.

The best one I have found is the 5 hour energy shot. All vitamins with the caffeine of about one cup of coffee. There is no crash afterwards either.

Monster CHAOS is my fav. I will say that I had some imported tea one time and thought I could run the boston marathon after.

I've been using an Energy drink/recovery program for the last week. Lance Armstrong is behind it and you can get a 2 week sample for the cost of shippping ($5).

My workout is more exhausting than a 2nd and 3rd Batt boy on a first date so I've found it helpful but I'm not sure it's any better than eating the right stuff. I may keep some around for when I can't eat healthy.

we started drinking these in NO for katrina on the 30 hour shifts but i now have switched to the lower carb version, and to be honest cant tell if they do anything for me anymore, just like the taste. i can drink one one the way home and rack out afterwads.[/img]
