They will issue you MOLLE gear, no need to bring your own for RS.

I'm about to start PRP and I'm trying to make it to the March RS class. I have a question as far as my personal load bearing equipment. Do I need to bring my unit issue MOLLE vest with canteens and shit, or can I bring my Tactical Tailor chest rig? I figure different units go there and have different SOP's and different equipment.

Bring whats on the packing list and you will be ok.
In 1981 I rode a motorcycle from Iowa to attend Ranger school visiting family along the way. About 500 miles into the trip I dumped my duffle to repack/adjust the load on my bike. I discovered my little sister had given me a going away present. In the bottom of my duffle bag was one of her training bras.
I don't even want to think what the RIs would have said/done upon seeing it when they had us dump our gear on day one. I figured I just missed becoming a legendary Ranger school story. My sister still thinks it funny.
Just bring whats on the packing list.

Bring what's on the packing list. No more, No less. Bringing extra crap, not enough crap, or not the right crap will just make you stand out, and not in a good way.
