Hey, long retired. OPSEC now comes naturally, since I forget most of what I knew. I'll wander through the swamp of this site until I get used to it.cco275 wrote:rgrokelley wrote:Howdy,

I wasn't in C 3/75 long. From about February 1986 to June 1986. I heard of a new Airborne Ranger LRRP unit that was going to start up in Germany, so I jumped on that. Ha, ha, joke was on us. We never did get Airborne status in F Company, 51st LRSU while I was in Germany. We did do permissive jumps with the different nations there.chkray wrote:When were you in C co. 3/75?? I took over 1 st Plt from Steve Rondeau in '85 (I think), and left for the good life of the 4th RTB in '87.

The 1SG in C 3/75 at that time was Patrick Hurley, who was killed in Desert Storm while with CAG. I think 1SG Hurley's dad climbed Point Du Hoc with the Rangers in WWII.
