Damn, back to back tours in the sandbox, even if it was in the S1....
We all have our crosses to bear, yours is knowing the same guy we do and the other is having one of those jobs no one ever notices until you make a mistake.

Hug a root!Personnel Deity wrote:Greetings to all current members,
I am a member of the Georgia Army National Guard with thirteen years of total service. Thus far I have served in the following units:
May 1994 - Apr 1999: HHC, 1-108th Armor
Apr 1999 - Sep 2001: Joint Operations Directorate, HQ, GA STARC
Sep 2001 - Dec 2002: HHC, 1-121st Infantry
Jan 2003 - Dec 2004: Det 1, HHC, 1-108th Armor
Dec 2004 - May 2006: HHC, 1-108th Armor (Mahmudiyah, Iraq)
Jun 2006 - Aug 2007: H Co, 121st Infantry (ABN) (LRS) (Tall Afar, Iraq)
Aug 2007 - Present: HHT, 1-108th Cavalry (RSTA)
While I possess none of the "scare badges" of the soldiers of my former unit I do like to think that my abilities in my field of personnel have some merit of their own. If an expert personnel badge (crossed pencils? ) existed I would certainly be a recipient of it. Some have said I can fix a soldier's personnel problems simply by thinking about it (how flattering).
All that aside, I have come to this forum at the suggestion of another member. I have noticed the razzing of newbies on the site and hereby myself to the slings and arrows of new membership. It is a pleasure to be associated with all of you. Let the game begin.
