TIs Christmas...

thanks to our troops who are currently serving and those who have served. It is the willingness of fine Americans to stand a post in Korea, Alaska, the deserts of Iraq and Ahganistan as well as those who are supporting the deployed toops from bases such as Pope AFB, Charleston AFB, Camp Pendleton, Indiantown Gap, Ft Lewis, Ft Bragg; etc. who secure our the safety of the U.S. and its citizens.

It is because the people of our great country sending cards and packages to troops they don't know, greeting returning troops at the airport, visiting our VA Hospitals to bring a new vet or an old vet a card or treat; selfless acts of care all. These often times are done with little or no fanfare, except in the hearts and souls of the giver and recipient; the greatest gift we can give.

It is well because we take time to wish our fellow veterans and families well. We take the time to wish the person you pass on the street a Merry Christmas, Season's Greetings, etc. It is well because children's face still light up with the sight of Santa. On Christmas Day it will be peaceful and joyous as we break bread and share gifts with families and friends.

It is well because we are or have been defenders of making it safe for you to wish a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanuka without fear of reprisal. It is well because we will continue to protect and defend out right to express Holiday greetings.

Merry Christmas to all...God Bless us all, everyone today and always.

PS Thanks to each and everyone for being who you are to your families, friends and online compadres. May Santa bring you all wonderful gifts and may the spirit of caring and giving last the year round.
