Is she an Aussie? I had a mostly red, named Foxy, when I was a kid. She was the best dog a kid could ever have, and lived about 15-16 years. RIP, girl. I've been wanting to get another one, but I'm afraid the new one won't be able to live up to Foxy's absolute greatness.

She is a Mini Australian..she is as tall as she will ever be... she has been "fixed", so she will just spread out.. :shock: (like the rest of us)

Here's our dog, Lucie. She's a West Highland White Terrier that we got in the Czech Republic. Pure European champion bloodlines.

These are the two cats HH6 got while I was deployed. The fat, gray one is Harley and he goes about 22 lbs. The skinny, black one is Shadow. Harley is pretty stupid, but loveable. Shadow is a good lap kitty. (I always say I've got my black pussy on my lap...) He absolutely loves to lick tape, so whenever you open a box or he hears the sound of tape coming off the roll, he comes running. I never thought I'd grow to like cats.... (sorry, Pastor)

I never have much nice to say about my wife's cocker spaniel. However, today was a proud moment. We just got back from a vacation in Arkansas. While touring Bath House Row in Hot Springs, I found a cool Sadaam Chew Toy in a gift shop. It was the first "gift" I've ever bought for Knucklehead.

When we returned home, I gave him the new toy. In less than 2 minutes, he had Sadaam's head chewed open, and had removed the sqeaky thing from inside. It nearly brought a tear of joy to my eyes. :lol:

I've gat a Boxer/Lab mix. She is a great dog. Likes the out doors(Lab) but not afraid to mix it up (Boxer). Not a better mix if you have kids!!!

Stew looks like they have some brindle markings, must be from Dad.

Oh ya they are not mutt's they are Boxadors and they are worth money! My wife paid $200 for ours! :shock:

I'm one step closer. The Aussie Rescue Hotline has my application, and after checking my references, Jan will be contacting me by the end of the week.

This adoption crap is taking forever, and starting to mildly irritate me. They checked my references and I had to email a shitload of pics of my house and neighborhood and huge field. They said all my references were great and everything looked good in the pics. Why the fuck can't I just drive to Tampa or Deltona or wherever the hell the dog is and pay the $200? Since I've started this, I've seen several Aussies for sale/adoption/free locally; but, I want the one from the Aussie rescue.

I'm venting here so whenever I meet in person, they don't think I'm unstable or mentally ill... :lol:

I am approved for Aussie Adoption! Bad news: The dog I wanted is gone. I'll have to wait...
