George H.A. Knab
1SG George Knab retired from Company A, 2d Battalion, 75th Infantry in July 1976. He was an instructor at the Mountain Ranger Camp in Georgia during 1971-1973(4). He died on October 10th, 2007 after being diagnosed with lung cancer. He is survived by his widow, Ursula and three sons: Art (Michelle), Wally, and Matthew and two grand daughters.

Does anyone have a location for First Sergeant Knab? I just got off the phone with retired CSM Mike Martin who had served with Knab in the Mountains. Their families were close at the time.
