Hello Rangers and Veterans and everyone else on this site.
New guys here, I just got home from Kosovo with the 1/116 IN from the VA NG. I've been in a little more than three years now all as an Infantryman, I'm currently in the RC to AC program with hopes of going to Fort Bragg and the 82nd. Since soldier in the RC to AC program cannot get Jump School in their contract, I'm not sure how its going to work. I look forward to using this resource.
Thanks

Welcome and stay focused on your goals. Where there is a will, and persistent follow-through, there is always a way.

From my understanding since I am a prior service soldier and transitioning from the NG to the Active Army I am not eligible for option 40, the 18X program, or even jump school. I was told I could choose duty station or a new MOS, and I like my job and I really really want jump wings, so I'm trying my best for Fort Bragg. If anyone has any experience or knowledge of the RC to AC program and could shed some light on this for me it would be awesome... thanks again
