U.S. Citizenship Test: Could You Pass?

Post by RTO »

If you were born a U.S. citizen, you didn't have to do anything to become a citizen--except be born. But each year, thousands of people have to take a test to gain citizenship. This quiz includes actual questions asked on the exam given by the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS), formerly the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS).

Because those that fail absolutely do not deserve to get in. The bar might be set a bit low, but it needs to be set somewhere.

Incidentally, I think that this test should be a bare minimum requirement to graduate high school/get a GED/register to vote.

Test makes no sense to me....most citizens wouldnt know what an amendment was nor do they care. Practical test would be....

1. If you have a 20 x 40 yard to mow and your mowing deck is 54 inches, how many passes must you make to finish the yard?

2. If a roof is 1200 sq feet, how many composite roof squares are needed to cover the roof.

3. When you dump trash from a construction job, do you...
a. Dump it in someones yard.
b. Dump it at the dump.
c. Take it home and sell it.

As it should be. However, the Pastor has the right idea.
