Sitrep

Post by phawk711 »

I graduated OSUT on May 4th. Tomorrow we begin at Airborne School with a PT test in the morning. I'm not concerned. I've come a long ways since I started basic with my PT. I got my first 300 on our last test during basic. Right now there are about 9 of us with RIP in our contracts at Airborne. I'm looking forward to these next 3 weeks and then making it through RIP! It feels great to finally start accomplishing my goals. Still never quiting!

good job dude, you sound like you know what's up

Take advantage of the gym by airborne...hit it up every night after you're released..you should be good to go.

feet and knees together airborne!

Congratulations on all that you have accomplished to date.

300! That is OUTSTANDING!!!!!!

Excellent work!!!!!!

Airborne is fun, 'specially if you have a squad of SEALs to pick on!

From there, it is all uphill. RIP will be one of the most difficult things you ever do.......... until you land at Bn. and set your sights on Ranger School.

Good luck to you and never...........

Well, Monday we jump! We will jump twice on monday, twice on tuesday, and our night jump on wednesday night. I'm not nervice yet, but I think I will be right before the jump. We graduate next friday and then I will have a pass until wednesday the 30th when we will be picked up for RIP. Hopefully I won't be in hold for more than a week but we will see. I went to a brief during airborne and the Rangers made it seem like it was going to be less of smokings and physical and more of testing and what not. I'm not worried either way but I don't expect it to be easy at all physically. I'll let ya know how it goes. Still never quiting.

You are doing well, Grasshopper......lock onto the obstacles with your mind, and your body will follow!

Well I graduated Airborne School today! It feels great to finally get my wings. This weekend is a long one due to memorial day so I will be picked up by RIP next Wednesday. I also have to pull two 24 hour CQ shifts over the next 5 days so that'll be fun. I'll update when something else interesting happens. Still never quiting!

Congratulations Airborne Paul. I'll call you later tonight. Don't have too much fun the next couple of days. Next time instead of Airborne it will be Ranger Paul .... I have all the faith in you just like Brian. He graduated RIP today. Your next in line.
