Hey everyone. Just a little about me. I did four years in 3/75. The first year was in HHC in the S6 Section. The next three were in C-CO as a platoon RTO and then as the Company Commo Chief. I recently got out of the army and I am doing some contract work overseas.

Welcome. What is this S-6? Did they add another section after I got out?
I never heard of anything over the S-5. At least not one I can remember.

It's classified Cams, you didn't have secret squirrel clearance why you didn't know about it while you were in. In fact, we shouldn't even be discussing it now.

S-6 is commo. Its nothing new. Wait werent you a commo guy?

I didn't know what it was either until I came down here and heard someone call it that. I've only ever heard C&E.

No sorry guys no RS class date for me. The chain of command felt that they couldnt let me go for 3 months. I am not kidding when I say that either. The only time I was ever offered a slot to go to Ranger school was about a month before my ETS date. And it was more a "if you stay we will let you go" kinda thing. The whole Ranger school thing is a pretty sore subject with me though.
