I've been in RIP Hold since Tuesday. Things are not bad here. We have good PT in the morning and details during the day. There is a lot of standing around though. Its nice to see standards actually being enforced now, especially after the lax environment of Airborne School.
We had our PT test to get into RIP this morning. I passed with a score of 279. I scored 72 correct pushups and none were discarded due to poor form. Others were not so lucky. I heard one of the graders scream at someone for only scoring 19 correct pushups.
The next RIP class starts on March 1st. I'm looking forward to getting kicked in the balls for 4 weeks :)

I was lucky to only be there for so short of a time, i dont no how others can be there for weeks. PT alot, run alot. RIP for me was all running. Just stay motivated.
Unmotivated? Aren't those the guys who are getting ready to go into RIP? You'd think they would be fired up.
Or do the WW's stay there too?

Foozbat, you're correct......Stay away from the fuckin slugs, stay motivated and focused. If there was ever a time to take "YOUR" life seriously now is the time. Because more than likely you will NOT get a second chance.
Now show YOURSELF What the fuck you're made of and do WHATEVER you need to do in order to make sure you accomplish your mission.
When you're doing elevated pushups with your feet on a chair or up against a wall with your ruck on and the other fuckers are sittin on their bunks talkin shit or jackin off. Just keep on doin them, because it will pay off.
