Introduction

Post by ABNRedLeg »

Hello, Gentlemen. My name is Anthony, I'm 24, and I'm from Plano, TX. I just recently was rewarded with orders to Ranger School after many months of hard work and persistence. I start Ranger School in March (Class 06-07) and I truly look forward to the opportunity.

I'm an...(and here is where I'm sure the disappointment settles in for many of you)...Air Defense Artillery Officer assigned to C/1-56 ADA at Fort Bliss, TX. The Army felt I was best served in the ADA and despite my early frustrations, I'm going to make the best of my situation. I will work with the Avenger Weapons system at Fort Hood (III Corps) when Fort Benning has had enough of me.

I'm seeking all of the information I can in order to improve myself as a leader in the long-term and as a Ranger student in the short-term. I enjoy reading all of the forums here and trust me when I say that in the few instances that I post a question, I will ensure I have exhausted all resources and I truly feel the question can benefit others currently in, or soon to be in my shoes. I have read the FAQs and will do my best to remain in compliance with all of these sites rules. Ears Open, Mouth Shut. Thank You and God Bless.
