Hi Zach. Welcome to the site. Thank you for wanting to serve our great country as a Ranger. The Rangers on this site will be giving you some very good advice in the next few days.

Listen to what they have to say and you will be that much closer to earning your Tab. Good luck to you.

You say you're 17 'eh? And you want to join the Army 'eh?

Well that's all good and well, good intentions, good aspirations and all.

Why don't you start by displaying some personal pride in the way you present yourself. Go back and look at your post here, it is a disaster. Mi-li-ta-ry, four fucking syllables and you can't spell it correctly?

Start over, here in this same thread, and try and make it read like a motivated young man wrote it, not a drunken 10 year old.

Sorry for my spelling on the last introduction.

You are a fucking no-go!! The only thing you changed is the spelling of military?!!! Does this post look ok to you goddammit?!!

DEPS, clean this kid up and have him come back and try again when you're done.

I just turned 17 this past September and am looking foward to enlisting in the U.S. Army. I would also like to say thanks for the Rangers that have defended my freedom and made this country what it is today.
Zach, you only get one opportunity to make a favorable initial impression. Sadly, you did not do well. As you progress through life, you will eventually recognize that it is easier to do it right the first time.

At any rate, if you really want to serve as a member of the 75th Ranger Regiment, you came to the right place. Please read all the FAQs, stickies, and selected threads. Use the search feature to answer almost every question you might have. Be reluctant to hit the submit button until you know what you want to say. What are you doing to prepare yourself for the PT you are about to undergo? Finally, welcome to the site.
