Hello everyone my name is David XXXXXXXX I am 17 years old and currently a junior at Christian Brothers High School in Memphis. I have been dabbling with the thought of enlisting in the Army since my freshman year and wasn't all serious until these last few months. Where I have made my decision to join and strive to become apart of this countries elite soldiers. I have not yet signed my contract but hope to get an 11b option 40 contract by following the instructions and advice I have already read on the forums. I am also trying to get it signed as soon as I can so I can go ahead and do basic this summer come back and finish school than go to AIT etc. I just have to get my parents to sign. Although I know I am not currently a Dep I ask get the advice and things that you would give a Dep, to better prepare me for my goal to achieve that tan beret. I hope to learn a lot. Thanks
