Restless Leg Syndrome
Any information on non drug therapies would be greatly appreciated. Since returning from Iraq in May I have routinely had restless leg at night 3-4 times a week. Lately however, it has increased to 5-6 night s a week and it is really starting to cutting into sleep time. I have tried other things, excercise decrease alcohol before bed and stretching but am getting no relief. I have searched the web and gotten no results from any of their recomendations which aqre similar to what I wrote above. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Not quite "non drug", but tonic water contains quinine, a treatment option for restless leg syndrome. A few glasses a day works for lots of folks.

I get RLS pretty bad from time to time. If it happens when I am not doing anything in particular I just walk, or do something until it stops, which never seems too long. The times it gets me the worst is when I am trying to sleep. I have found changing my sleep location seems to work the best.
It freaks the chicks out, but I'll go sleep somewhere else, another bed, the couch, the floor somewhere in the house. Another spot usually works. That and I'll try an Ambien too sometimes which helps also.
Good luck.
