Thanks for the reviews on Flight 93, I think I'll skip it for now. My therapist, not the one I slept with (had to change), tells me it's bad for my anger management process...

Everyone knows of the rivalry between my beloved Boston Red Sox and the Dreaded Evil Empire (Yankees) right?
I can't remember the name of the movie right now, but it's a new animated kids flick about a special baseball bat/player or some such, ya with me so far?
Now here's the catch, it's shows a Yankees player in the commercial.
Here's the good part
We have instilled so much Red Sox pride in our children here, that when the ad came on TV, my little guy Hunter and my niece Caitlin were both like, "Daddy! Uncle! We are NOT going to see that movie are we??!! It's about the Yankees!!!
I about fell out of my chair laughing!! But boy was I proud!!

Being a native New Englander, people think I am prone to have bouts of road rage as it is. Yesterday (after seeing the movie) my patience w/ these slow as molasses, TX drivers, was about nil. As well as wanting to close the borders to everyone, along w/ wanting to shout that anyone who doesn't have the heart to serve in the military (not just for college $$) is (again) suspect in my book.

Lucky Number Slevin.
Saw this tonight and it was pretty damn good. Great cast, Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Lucy Liu, Ben Kingsley and Josh Hartnett. Not a big Hartnett fan, but I thought he did pretty good in this one.
It's one of those movies that keeps flashing back and forth to fill in the gaps, but it was very interesting and had really good dialogue.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Beginning.
I like these two new remakes better than the original and its sequals. Although, Dennis Hopper has to be my favorite actor/character from any of them, even R Lee Ermy.
I'm going to see The Grudge 2 on Fri. I'll post after.

King Arthur. (why doesn't that name look right to me? Brain fart.) Ya I spelled it right. Anyway, I enjoyed this movie, a cool twist to the story's we all grew up hearing as kids.
Arthur and his Knights were all Roman slaves. Quinnevere (SP) was a Pagan Warrior chic with a bow, Merlin lived in the woods and looked like a savage with a painted face.
Hell, I thought it was pretty cool the way they changed the story around.

The Grudge 2 was OK. It touched on why the dead things were killing people. It was pretty much more of the first movie, which I liked because it was different.
I watched the Sentinel on PPV, it was ok. There's nothing highspeed about Michael Douglas except that he fucks Catherine Zeta Jones.
I want to go see that fucking Borat!
