Just to add to my inevitable smoking for this post:

Ranger Fishboy, I got my reservation contract back (I didn't qualify at MEPS the first time around) from my recruiter and now I have to go to MEPS again qualify and then go to the service liason for the actual contract.

In response to the speculation about BAT, that is the acronym used in all my official military documentation to refer to my Basic Airborne Training. I assumed it was in the standard Army lexicon, apologies if I should have used something else.

Ranger AbnRng289, my contract was an enlisted soldier's contract that secured my MOS 68W, along with BAT and a first active duty station of RVG4 ( I'm assuming that is an assignment to RIP). Again, thank you all for the B.S.-free advice, we DEP's need all we can get!
