depends on the track, the one I used to go to was maybe 150 for the weekend
Trackdays can get expensive. You have to have new tires... for my bike, that's about 300 bucks a set. Then, you gotta book the day... depends on who is running the day, most are between 150 to 190 bucks a day. Laguna is very expensive... between 250 and 330 bucks for the day.
Each day is divided into groups... C group, are beginners... B group is intermediate, A group is advanced. This has to do with lap times, and how fast you are. I ride in the A group... which is a blast, but... you get racers in the A group with you, and they show you just how SLOW you really are.
You have to have all your gear... Leathers, back protector, gloves, boots, lid... and your bike has to pass tech.
If you have not done a track day... I highly suggest it. You will learn more about how to ride in one day on the track, than you will in two years on the street...
36 feet of pavement, No cars, No cops, No speed limits, challenging corners, fast straights, and traffic is only going YOUR direction.
Pretty typical... , target fixation... wingman follows right where he is looking...
By the way, I did not shoot this video. It was emailed to me, and I just hosted it on YOU TUBE so I could share it. Be careful out there on your bikes... again, glad no one was hurt. Glad no one was coming the other way.
