Do you mean AIT? As in Advanced Individual Training? Or are you going to some Infantry school?
It's all good.

therealJBlack wrote:sorry, I thought I had an avatar, there should be one now. I believe I go to the portion of infantry school after basic, it says I'm there for eight weeks so I may be there for a portion of BCT again. Oh well, fort jackson was too easy. It wouldn't be a huge deal if I went to basic all over again though. I could use it to get in better shape (reserve life just doesn't cut it). Does anyone have any idea how it might work for someone in my circumstances? Any extra info is appreciated.
This right here should be a huge self-inflicted kick in the nuts. Don't blame the Reserves for not keeping you in shape, as part of being a 'reserve soldier' it is YOUR responsibility to keep yourself in shape, so don't cop out on them.
If you think BAC PT is going to prepare you for RIP, you better get your head out of the clouds young man, you'll need to at least double the amount of PT they doing.
That being said, welcome and good luck.
