The 40th Mech Inf Div is a part of the California NG. Their web site has this page

detailing the return of a combat team they sent to Iraq. No dates I could see. C C0 1/185th Armor was a part of that team.

I didn't know "Capt. Blake, Company commander of the Charlie Company 185 Armor Bn, 1 Brigade, 40th Mechanized Infantry Division."
was part of the 82nd. It might be a baited ambush..i.e.I'll show you mine and you show me your pictures...I've seen these before, where I can't recall right now. I know one thing for sure, I wouldn't be posting any pictures of dead or injured on the internet, not even taking them for that matter with today's political climate.

1-185th Armor BN isn't even part of the 40th ID. It is part of the 81st BCT of the WA NG. Here is the unitâ€™s web site:
